Why I Stopped Looking For a Job (For Now)

George Hemminger gives some “tongue in cheek” advice for unemployed people to stop looking for work. While I can never advocate that people completely give up in their search for employment and a steady occupation, he brings to light so many of the soul destroying aspects of job hunting in the ongoing economic depression, particularly for the long-term unemployed.

Or you can work at unpaid internships (slave labor), where you get dressed in your penguin suit, commute to your position at $4-a-gallon gasoline, and ultimately don’t even get paid.
