“Stun Cuffs” The New Shock Collar For The Sheeple

One jail in Missouri has implemented new “stun cuffs” to keep rowdy inmates in line, because apparently it is just too much to ask of prison guards (who can make six-figures in overtime and bonuses in states like California) to get up on their own two feet and administer a shock themselves. That is only IF such an action is absolutely necessary.

What is scary about this new technology is the incredible potential for abuse, since the mere press of a button will administer 80,000 volts through the wearers body. Oh, I see one of your feet is an inch over the red line! SHOCK. Oh, I see you didn’t shine the warden’s shoes good enough! SHOCK.

Much like drones, I fear that this new technology will inevitably spread like wildfire, and will eventually diversify into other areas of life. Can you imagine if free-thinking public schoolchildren, who dare to question the government propaganda they are made to consume, are forced to wear a “child friendly” version of a stun cuff around their ankle, that will only be removed until they are deemed to be “cured” Obamabots?

Even if these are only hypothetical scenarios of a future dystopia, wouldn’t it be nice if our country could actually invent things again that propelled civilization forward, rather than being hell-bent on developing tools to cause pain, suffering, and death to other human beings via the prison-industrial complex and the military-industrial complex?

I imagine the prisoners will be extra careful what they say in court should they ever need to speak for themselves.

Maybe you should watch one of the Arnie movies in which prisoners wear similar collars round their necks. If they try to escape the collars blow up when they pass an infra red detector. Yet again the sheeple just think that this is just a movie. Like all scifi films it’s telling you what is coming even though they have had this technology or years.

Running Man. The book and the movie are VERY prescient. Here’s a quote from Wiki:

By 2017, the global economy has collapsed and American society has become a totalitarian police state, censoring all cultural activity.”

Seems like we are right on track!

People always make fun of me when I mention that Running Man is one of my favorite movies (and books). Nobody seemed to understand….glad you see, Richard.

These torture devices are not going to get into use. The bleeding heart liberals will certainly prevent it. Crying about abusing our prisoners, etc.. These probably are against geneva convention so they can’t be used in wartime either.

Why not emigrate to North Korea or China if you approve of torture?

      • Will

No need to emigrate, he can stay right here in the homeland comrade.

      • doru001

Because he wants to torture others, not the other way around.

      • Denmason

Don’t need to move to North Korea or China moron, the US government has been torturing people for many many years now… or have you been asleep?

Our prisons are being taken over by private companies and you know that this technology will come into play. They’ll figure out a way to “sell it” to the public, because we’ll be the ones paying for it. The writer has it right, when she says, “Even if these are only hypothetical scenarios of a future dystopia, wouldn’t it be nice if our country could actually invent things again that propelled civilization forward, rather than being hell-bent on developing tools to cause pain, suffering, and death to other human beings via the prison-industrial complex and the military-industrial complex?” This society is turning to a new “Dark Ages”, and people that would even consider this shock bracelet are charter members already! Even in the Old Testament times, which many people say were barbaric, the guilty person was fully released to society after paying his debt. Rehab was foremost back then, but it is hardly considered now.

And this is just the beginning. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/science-news/9051909/Mind-reading-device-could-become-reality.html
Now your mind can be read. Rebellion thoughts I believe are quite outstanding and easy to identify. How are they going to use this?

great idea.upon assuming public office all officials and politicians should have one.then we have a nightly local syndicated game show where they are held to account for their actions directly to the people via an app on the cellphones?

Just finished reading the horrifying book ‘1984’ and then I read this… this is scary shit.

Check out “Brave New World” by Aldous Huxley. Our society is like a mishmash of both books. But you know what’s REALLY horrifying? NOBODY IS GOING TO DO A DAMN THING TO STOP IT. Solzhenitsyn said it very well in “The Gulag Archipelago”:

“At what point, then, should one resist? When one’s belt is taken away? When one is ordered to face into a corner? When one crosses the threshold of one’s home? An arrest consists of a series of incidental irrelevancies, of a multitude of things that do not matter, and there seems no point in arguing about one of them individually…and yet all these incidental irrelevancies taken together implacably constitute the arrest. ”

Of course, he gives the answer. How do you fight this? HE TELLS US, and still we don’t listen!

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

But we never ever seem to listen, or learn from history, so we are doomed to repeat it.

Forgot to add that I honestly don’t believe the majority of Americans have ever even heard of these authors, or would be able to understand either of those quotes I just posted. Y’all are probably aware of “the look”, that blank-eyed, glassy, drugged state that people go into whenever anything unpleasant or real is brought up. It’s not interesting to read books, much better to watch TV and shovel GMO garbage into your gullet. Sad, we are truly doomed.
